Shopping from Singapore Online Shop

As I had been buying the mmu from US, I feel comfortable with shopping online now. I discover some local on-line shops which provide very good services. I order some SKII products from Buy Best Cosmetics today. I placed the order on 2pm, and I got the products on 6:30pm, Supper Fast!!!  And the good thing to order from local web site is that I can pay the cash on delivery, and that is much less risk.  The other one I ordered from is the diapper.com.sg, of course it is order the diapper & milk powder for my baby, and they also deliver to door on the second day with payment on delivery . Do you know how heavy those thing are? Now I get more time to play with my baby instead of work like an ant to keep on moving things to home. I am still searching for the web site which can deliver me the daily foods with reasonable price.

FOTD - Signature Mineral

This morning was quite relaxing morning, I got my time to put on the makeup carefully. I was plan to use Bare Faced again, and end up I remembered a review of Signature Mineral last night. I decide to use Signature. I didn't try their foundations at all since I got it two month ago. The main reason is because one of the eyes shadow I tried make me itch a bit. I want to give this brand one more chance.

Primer/Finish Powder:  Signature Minerals - Angel Wing
Foundation               :  Signature Minerals - 5.3 Medium Begie
Blush                       :  Ocean Mist Minerals - Elegant Nude Blush
Eyes Shaw/Liner       :  Signature Minerals - Black Eyes Liner
                                   Signature Minerals - Wild Thyme

When the time I apply the primer and foundation, I felt itch again, just a bit, not so serious, and the eyes also.

Check out the ingredient list, it looks the only one thing which different from other brands is the "Serecite" in finish powder & eyes shadow, am I the one who is sensitive to "Serecite"? The foundation don't have this ingredient, I will try out just foundation in Signature Minerals next time.

The foundation color is a bit darker also, but health and nature looking, Applied 2 layer to get a medium coverage. The texture is ok, soft and smooth. My face became oily on the lunch time, makeup melt on 3pm, it means I need to use back my favours primer/finish powder - Sand Silk Powder from Lumiere.

I realise I did wrong on the role of sampling, I should try on one foundation at less 1~2 weeks, I always change my mind to choose what ever I like when the time I wake up. I need a plan -

Primer always use Sand Silk Powder from Lumiere (I have a full size).
Foundation change the brand/formula once a week (Sat.& Sun. is non makeup day)
The rest of colors all use the DreamWorld (I have wild sample collection, the colors are beautiful).

Next week I continue on Signature Minerals 5.3, follow by Lumiere VV Mediem Gold,  Alima G1....

FOTD - Bare Faced VF G2

Today, I wake up late, everything go in a rush, just for a one minute makeup:

Foundation:  Bare Faced VF -  G2
Blush        :  EveryDay Mineral -  Sista
Lip            :  Bare Faced Lippie Styx - Magnetism
Brow         :  ZA  - Grey

Without a primer, my face become oily very fast, Bare Faced VF G2 is the formula with Vit.E, I think I need the formula without Vit.E but with Kaolin Clay, the color is abit darker for me, next time should try G1, or Y5,Y4, I like the texture of this powder, it is very smooth, and it can go on to the brush very well without leave some big piece "sand" on the lid.

 

 

 

 

矿物质彩妆

忙碌高压的时代，如何放慢脚步、乐活过生活，显然成为现代人的共同目标，而这一股慢活纾压的潮流，也逐一反映在女性上妆保养的习惯。近来，欧美 30 世代女性之间，十分流行使用 “ 矿物质彩妆 ” （ Mineral Makeup ) ，藉由这种低敏、无刺激性的成分，彻底实践美丽无负担的上妆哲学。

 

矿物质 成份纯粹

 

顾名思义，矿物质彩妆是以微细化的天然矿物质做为基质的彩妆，除此之外，还要不含矿物质、滑石等填充料和结合剂，也没有化学染料、防腐剂、香料、酒精等容易引发过敏的成分，才能称得上是纯粹的矿物质彩妆。

 

约 10 多年前，矿物质彩妆开始在医疗院所推广，当时是专门针对手术后的患者所设计，像是刚做完雷射换肤的病患，便可藉着低敏、抗炎的矿物质彩妆，来修饰脸上的泛红部位。由于产品种类齐全、色彩丰富，加上低敏特质，十分适合长时间上妆使用，因此许多好莱坞巨星，如芮妮．齐薇格、茱莉亚．萝勃兹、珊卓．布拉克等人，都是矿物质彩妆的爱用者。

 

保养性≠低敏

 

矿物质彩妆何以具低敏性？不妨试想，地球中的主要物质，不外乎动物、植物及矿物质等，当中，就属矿物质是无生命体，既不具本身特质存在，也不易与其他成份结合产生变化，因此， “ 纯粹 ” 的矿物质，不易变质，也不会滋生细菌或引发过敏；相较之下，源自动物或天然植物萃取的成分，则有可能因生长环境或萃取过程而遭受污染，或是成份本身就为过敏源。

不同于一般彩妆，总是积极的注入保养成分，矿物质彩妆则是在天然、无污染、低刺激性的基础上，将可能的致敏物质比例减至最低、甚至是零，即便是彩妆颜色，也是从天然矿物质萃取而来。

 

矿物质彩妆不同于一般彩妆之处，在于矿物质粉本身是停留在肌肤表层，并不会被吸收，也因此能减少造成敏感的机率；而添加了油脂保养成分的彩妆，一方面将保养成份渗到肌肤里层，注入的成份也可能是引发过敏的来源，但相对的，矿物质彩妆所能营造的保养性，可能就不若加入动、植物油脂的保养彩妆。

 

矿物质彩妆 4大特点

 

近来，随着乐活话题发烧，矿物质彩妆再度在欧美形成话题，这股风潮也逐渐延烧到亚洲市场，目前台湾的矿物质彩妆，以药妆及网路为主要通路。得特别注意的是，矿物质彩妆并不等同于 “ 含矿物质 ” 的彩妆，两者功效也相差悬殊，目前虽没有一套矿物质彩妆的制定标准，但优质的矿物质彩妆仍可归纳出以下特点：

 

1. 有益敏感肌肤

用到不适合肤质的彩妆，往往容易引起粉刺、干燥、毛孔阻塞或过敏症等问题，单纯的矿物质彩妆，不会渗入肌肤里层，可减少过敏机率；此外，氧化锌、二氧化钛等矿物质成分，对于敏感肌肤，也有舒缓、抗菌作用。

 

2. 适合术后保护

在雷射、换肤等手术后，可用矿物质彩妆遮盖红斑，且某些术后的肌肤，并不适合用化学遮光剂防晒，藉着二氧化碳等矿物质成份，也能提供安全有效的防晒保护。

 

3. 不含人工色素及防腐剂

矿物质彩妆不含化学染料，所有色料皆是来自于氧化铁等矿物质原料萃取，并藉着香草、杏仁等天然成份，达到抗菌保存的效果。

 

4. 不需特别卸妆

矿物质粉的扁平微粒会依附皮肤上，因此，只需用洗面乳就能把矿物质粉洗净，而不需特别卸妆，某些品牌甚至还诉求上妆睡觉也不伤肌肤。

 

My first post

This is my first post, I created this blog is because I read the post of Moosie on the "Simple Tips for Those Sampling MMu", I think it's right to record down the journal of my sampling minerals makeup (thanks, Moosie). I learn a lot from lilita's blog too, as she provided  plenty of informations on mineral makeup and  it helps me a lot especially on the color choosing. Thanks lilita!

 

I didn't makeup previously because I don't like to put sticky things on my face. But until some day I saw the spots on my face in the mirror, I fell sad and I thought I need to correct it. I started to use high SPF sunscreen and foundations. The sunscreen make my skin look pale, and plus the traditional liquid foundation, my spots was not so obvious and I was happy for a few days. One day my colleague suddenly said "Why your face looks so pale, are you felling well?"... , from that time I understood what is the blush made for, and why we need colors.

I spent my times on the female magazines to study on how to makeup and how to choose the cosmetics, and I read one article talk about mineral makeup which brighten my eyes, yes, why not, since I am using the health skincare, I should use the health makeup!

I started sampling the mineral makeup since Sep 2007, the first one was from Everyday Minerals, I like it, it is light weight, easy to apply and natural looking as described on the magazine, so from that time I went crazy to sample from more than 10 mineral makeup companies until Dec 2007, they are Everyday Minerals, Alima, Ocean Mist, Lumiere,Signature,Silk Nature,Bare Faced, Taylor Made, Cory, Monave, DreamWorld, Meow. I get lost in the sample testing, I don't know what I want and  which one I like at the end, so I stopped the sampling. I need to organize myself, and record down my felling on use of the samples for future reference.

Today is a lucky day, when I step into my office, I heard "You look beautiful today", I haven't heard that for a long time, so I must write it down what I am wearing:
